Vancouver Restaurant: The Keg Steakhouse and Bar

One day my friend was saying how her neighbourhood restaurant was The Keg.  I told her that I only went to The Keg on special occasions so she promised to take me there on my birthday.

Time goes by and I find my birthday has come.  Promises are kept and I find myself dining at The Keg Steak and Seafood Restaurant. As the name suggests, it's known for steaks and seafood in a fine dining atmosphere.  I had the "Special" of the night which was a sirloin with alaskan dungeness crab and shrimp.  Perfect combination of what they do best - steak and seafood.  Each entree comes with one accompaniment.  I choose the double baked potato.  Delightfully delicious.

At the end of the meal I was suprised when the server brought a cake with a candle on top for dessert. I never knew that birthdays could be celebrated at The Keg so easily. I have to admit it's much better than a McDonalds birthday party. It was an amazing ice cream cake that was shared by all.
