Seattle is a mere 2.5 hour drive from Vancouver and is famous for a lot of attractions such as Pike Place Market. It is like being at home away from home. The scenery is beautiful and you can see the view of the city, mountains, and ocean from the top of the Space Needle.
The Space Needle is also one of the attractions in the
Seattle City Pass. You just pay $59 for adults to be able to enter 6 city attractions. You can use the pass within a 9 day period of time or wait until Dec 15 when there will be the winter special and you can use for 77 days until Feb 29, 2012.
With your ticket you can go to the top of the Space Needle twice within 24 hours so you can see the day and the night view. The best view for me is sunset. It was a rainy and windy night view but you can still see the city lights and how large the city is. The next day the sunset was definitely the highlight of the trip for me.
I loved going up the Space Needle to see the Seattle sunset!
You can see the mountain as the backdrop for the city view!

Once you have traveled, the voyage never ends, but is played out over and over again in the quiestest chambers. The mind can never break off from the journey.
