Things to Do: Skytrain Ride Views

Our local transportation system can provide an environmentally friendly and inexpensive way to see the Lower Mainland.  Get a daypass for the skytrain and then hop on and look around.  You'll be able to see scenic views and on a sunny day get some great photos too.

One day I got "lost" and ended up in Surrey instead of Burnaby Mountain. When I discovered that I was on the King George skytrain instead of the Millenium line, I was looking out the window to make sure I was heading back to the right place.  That was the best part of getting "lost".  It was a beautiful day and I had the picture perfect shot of the Patullo Bridge which connects New Westminister and Surrey.

If you have nothing to do, I'd recommend getting lost in the city.  Go exploring and have your own little adventure.  When you look, you'll be surprised at what you can find so close to home.
