Vancouver Restaurant: Fortune Garden for Peking Duck

I haven't had Peking Duck for years.  It's an affordable dish but you need friends.  I enjoy the being able to put your meal together before you eat it.  It's fun and delicious!  So I asked my expert Chinese restaurant friend which restaurant in Vancouver was the best for Peking Duck.  Fortune Garden was the one!

Peking Duck is a two-course dish.  First dish that comes out is the duck skin.  It was funny when my friends at the table looked and said "Where's the duck?".  You put a thin tortilla shaped pancake on your plate, add the duck skin, green onion, and sauce.  Then you wrap it up and enjoy!  This was a delicacy.  Delicious.

Then the second dish comes out where you can see the duck chopped up into a nice mix with vegetables and crisp lettuce leaves.  You put the mix in the lettuce leaf, top it with sauce, wrap it up, and take your first bite.  I'm a bit messy so the sauce is oozing down my fingers and I take the other bites quickly to finish the morsel.
We ordered other dishes but I can't even remember what they were anymore because my big attraction to Fortune Garden was for the Peking Duck Two-Course meal.  That'll cost you about $30.  It's worth it!
