My friend loves the stuffed mushroom caps at
Steamworks located downtown Vancouver right beside the Waterfront Skytrain Station. It is a large restaurant that can accommodate small or large groups. It's quite a popular place to unwind after a day's work. That's exactly what we did. Nice casual pub fare.

I had the
White Wine Sangaria and that was not only looked pretty but tasted smart too. My friend enjoyed her glass of white wine and texting. A perfect combination!

We started with the
Stuffed Mushroom Caps. They were warm and oozing with goodness!

Our main dishes included
Calimari and
Chicken Fingers with yam fries. We were keeping in mind to save room for dessert!
I know that last time I went to
Steamworks with a large group I didn't have dessert but eyed them at the other tables. I vowed to myself to try the dessert the next time I came here and that's exactly what I did. A friend ordered the
Apple Pie and I shared the
Steamworks Sundae Brownie. Yummy! Sundae Brownie was topped with whipped cream and chocolate sauce on the side to drizzle on top!
