Vancouver Event: Vancouver International Dance Festival

Vancouver has year-round festivals and events for people to enjoy.   Vancouver International Dance Festival has sprung in March until the 19th with different dance performances.  For students and those who are on a budget or are not sure if they wish to spend $35 for a full priced ticket, there are almost free performances at the Blenz Community Stage at the Roundhouse Community Center.  Cheaper than the cost of a latte, you can enjoy 15 public performances for the VIDF $3 membership.  The performances are every evening at 7pm with the remaining schedule as follows from Roundhouse Community Center:

Another free event during the VIDF would be the dress rehearsal on Saturday, March 18th from 3:30 - 5:30pm for the combination of dance and symphony with Kokoro Dance & Vancouver Symphony Orchestra.  This is a great opportunity to experience the Arts without any commitment.  I've lived in Vancouver for over 10 years but I can always discover new festivals and events I've never seen before.  What a great place to live!
