Great place to go on a date located downtown Vancouver across from Canada Place. You can stop by for dessert and tea and then walk around Canada Place and the new Vancouver Convention Center to see the view of North and West Vancouver.
It was a friend's birthday treat and we decided to try the Smores Fondue. All I can say is that make sure you have extra napkins if you are a messy smores maker like me. The Smores Fondue comes to your table with marshmallows, fondue sticks, mini hibachi grill, and chocolate.
First step is to gently brown your marshmallow over the grill. Be careful not to get it too close, otherwise your marshmallow will flame up. I know from experience and was quick to blow it out. Mink Chocolate Cafe will appreciate it if you don't burn down the cafe ;)
Second step is to dip the marshmallow in the melted chocolate. Yummy!
Third and final step is to put it between two graham crackers and enjoy! They provide you with more marshmallows which I fully enjoyed cooking and eating chocolate dipped marshmallow as a dessert in itself.
I love participatory foodie events so you and your special guest(s) will have fun choosing from the menu at Mink Chocolate Cafe!
