New Westminister Restaurant: Taverna Greka

Usually I only go to New Westminister to either go to second hand store shopping at Salvation Army or beading at Moody Beads.  But this time, I was with a local who brought me to Taverna Greka Waterfront Restaurant.  What really impressed me was the incredible view.  From the front, it looks like a regular Greek Restaurant, but when you walk inside and are seated by the hostess, you can see the panoramic waterfront view of New Westminister.   Sometimes when you least expect it, you can find little surprises. Thinking of bringing my parents next time they are in town because they have Belly Dancing on Friday and Saturday nights.   Good Greek food and free entertainment.

I had the Roast Lamb dinner which included the usual rice, greek salad, potatoes and the tender lamb.  Plated nicely and was delicious.

My friend ordered a small Village Salad which was quite a generous portion as pictured on the right.

You can check out their extensive Taverna Greka dinner menu.
