Vancouver has plenty of restaurants to choose from and Foundation is one of them. It's a vegetarian restaurant that a co-worker recommended. It's a cozy place with handmade crafts being sold and diner tables thrown together with fold up chairs. The menu is simple. The prices are affordable. The food arrived in large portions. I was full and we hadn't even ordered chocolate fondue for dessert yet. Unfortunately the sugar pie was sold out! The satay salad had a spicy peanut dressing and another salad had a mango dressing that just gave it zing. The food was tempting my tastebuds to guess the flavours to make something so simple stand out in your mouth. It's a young, hip crowd with just as young and hip servers.
