LUSH

Everyone knows this store, it's either the place that people love and walk into with confidence, or the place people can't stand to go into because of the strong aromas.  It was the latter for me until now.
These days I'm trying new products such as Kiehls moisturizer and needed more especially since I'm more of a variety girl.  I can't get my whole skincare line from one place!  So, when I bumped into Surfer Blonde's blog and read the LUSH reviews of the face masks, it got me thinking about the store again.
I browsed the webiste and then dived into LUSH in Metrotown to splurge on their natural, handmade soaps.  I had become irritated with store bought no-name brand soap because it metls away after a week of use.  It was time to try something new.  Porridge Soap and Demon in the Dark Soap were my picks.  They have managed to survive my shower melting test and have lasted longer than a week - I have to say that I like having both soaps in the shower cause some mornings, the exfoliation of the porridge soap is too prickly and annoying and I just prefer the peppermint pick me up of demon in the dark.
With my skincare line, I was becoming annoyed with the fact that most face toners need cotton balls or pads to apply.  I wanted something more environmentally friendly and I found that with LUSH Breathe of Fresh Air toner that has a spray top.  Not only natural but also good for the environment!
Worth looking at the LUSH website to see if anything peaks your interest.

I loved using the website to do my research first. Then I went into the store at least with some idea of what I wanted to try.
They have been refreshing!
