Vancouver Restaurant: Sun Sui Wah for Dim Sum

Sunday is my lazy day.  A chance for me to sleep in and stay in my pajamas until noon if I feel like it.  So the question you might be asking is "What can I do on Sunday?"  This is the day that "brunch" was born.  Breakfast and lunch in one so you can sleep until noon guilt-free.  For the Chinese, that would be "Dim Sum."
Traditionally in the past, servers used to push carts with bamboo steamers of shrimp or pork dumplings, steam buns.  Sun Sui Wah was one of the last restaurants who continued to have push carts while the others changes to traditional check box style order lists.  Sun Sui Wah now has the check box menu but the food is still delicious and has that dim sum quality and flavour.  Sun Sui Wah in Vancouver is my first choice when guests come to visit and want to try dim sum.

What do you order?  I love the dumplings.  Shrimp dumplings, scallop dumplings, pork dumplings or chive dumplings and more.  Then you must order the dessert.  This is one of the few places that has baked tapioca.  I love this dessert.  I'm not a sweet person so that says a lot.  The mango pudding or mango pancakes are also worth trying.
