Burnaby: Kiku Sushi Japanese Restaurant

Kiku Sushi Japanese Restaurant is our local neighbourhood restaurant. They have had their winter menu for almost a year and I am happy about that because those are the dishes that we order regularly.

The winter california roll gives the traditional california roll a twist with a nice baked cheesy top. Then the spicy tofu with chicken is a nice blend of noodles, tofu, chicken and vegetables. It is spicy so my only tip is to make sure you have your glass of water ready and mix it all up before you take your first bite.

The prices are reasonable and you can eat in or take out. I love going there during non-peak hours around 8pm because it's not only quiet but you have wonderful service.
