Vancouver Event: Joan Rivers Unique LIves and Experiences

I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to experience Joan Rivers Unique Lives and Experience at The Centre for Performing Arts in Vancouver, BC.  This event is a women's lecture series that showcases different speakers and presenters.   A benefit of attending one by a comedienne is that you have free entertainment with a one stand up comic show combined with a story about her life.  Inspiring to hear about her struggles and triumphs and how she worked hard to get her comeback.

One lesson learned is that you can make it or break it in an instant.  You can have everything and lose everything within seconds.  So, be thankful for what you have and appreciate it cause you never know how long it'll last.  Also to be open to opportunity because you never know what will come your way or who you'll meet. 

Don't wallow.  Don't swallow.  Live young and work hard to do it all!
Of course she'd also say plastic surgery is great and so is a new face.

I don't agree with that one, but as Joan Rivers would say, you can take your face to the party but you leave your new car at the curb.  This was a Unique Life and Experience that I'd recommend.  Worth attending!
