Burnaby Restaurant: Anatolia's Gate Restaurant

Here's a nice neighbourhood Burnaby Turkish restaurant called Anatolia's Gate Restaurant located in High Gate Village at 7084 Kingsway.  The staff are friendly and it has a quaint family restaurant feel with an international flair.  They have a wood burning oven and the lavash bread is a must!.  The bread arrives at your table like a big light, fluffly pillow until of course, you break it apart by taking the first piece.

Chicken Guvech

We decided to share a couple of main dishes which was a fabulous idea because that was enough for me.  We had the perfect amount of food with no leftovers.   One was the oven baked chicken guvech and the second was a baked vegetarian dish with eggplant, cheese, and other vegetables.

I'll have to return next time to try their pizza, salads, lamb kebobs, and so much more that's on their menu.  Very reasonable prices too!  It felt so much like home that I didn't realize until the kitchen lights went out that it was closing time.
