Where do you go to get the Christmas spirit but don't want to be inside a shopping mall?
Vancouver Christmas Market located at Queen Elizabeth Plaza downtown Vancouver. This was my first time and I have to admit that they have a really great website and marketing. You feel like you're walking through a village with beautifully built wood kiosks with food, drinks, and shops. It's an outdoor market so bring a warm jacket and gloves. The space is small and cozy. It didn't take us long to walk through. The best part was the Swiss Raclette that I tried. You can see the big swiss cheese blocks under the heat and then they gently scrape the melted cheese onto the bread. Yummy! Overall, the Vancouver Christmas Market is one that I only have to see once. It's open until Dec 24th with $5 admission for adults.
