Royal Canadian Mint

As I was strolling down Granville St on my way to the skytrain, the Royal Canadian Mint Boutique caught my eye.  Was this new?  Look at all of the sparkly, shiny coins.  There were snowflake coins, Chinese New Year coins, Olympic coins, and more.  I browsed and then went to the back where there was a Coin Exchange.  What's that?  Well, it's a place where you can exchange your boring coins for the coin of the week.

For me, it was the Remembrance Day poppy coin.  Now that's coin with colour.  I enjoyed my time at the store and would recommend that you check it out a 752 Granville St (between Robson & Georgia) before they are gone on February 13th, 2011.
