I was looking for a memorable place to have conversation with my Japanese friend. She loved high tea at The Secret Garden. So when I discovered Mink downtown, I thought that I would give it a try. It met all of my expectations and I plan to return!
We had the traditional Chocolate Milk Fondue and it came to our table on a silver platter. It felt like a high end, posh tea place without the high end price. Okay, that's an exaggeration but it's a step up from your local cookie cutter Starbucks.

How to Get There: Go to Waterfront Skytrain Station. Walk from there towards Canada Place and West Hastings Street.

Mink isn't high tea but it is REAL GOOD CHOCOLATE.
If you want 'high tea', I recommend Secret Garden.
